Why do I need to create an account?

Creating an account with Tech Cart enables you to place an order as well as view information regarding your order such as delivery tracking and order status. Other features include updates to your personal account, history, your wishlist selection and more. The information collected are used for processing your orders only and will not be used in any other way not authorised by you. We treat all information as strictly confidential and will never be released to any other third party.

How do I register as a new user?

It’s completely free to register an account with us. Just click on ‘Register’ on the top left hand corner of this page and simply fill out the Online Member Application form before clicking ‘Submit’. You’ll then be able to start shopping with us right away! After you have registered you will also receive an activation request email. Please follow the instruction on the email to activate your account.

I have registered but did not receive an Activation Email

Due to certain Spam filter setting by some ISP or Anti-Virus software, you may not receive our system emails. If you do not receive an account activation email after 5 minutes of registration, please visit this activation page or email our sales team for manual activation.

I have forgotten my password.

If you need help retrieving your password, simply click here. A password reminder will be emailed to you at the address you registered with. If you have any other accounts related questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team support@techcart.com.au .

How do I place an order?

Simply select any item you’d like to purchase and then proceed to click on the relevant ‘Add to cart’ button. You will then be redirected to your shopping cart where you can checkout by following the prompts or continue shopping. An order confirmation will be sent via email upon completion of placing an order.

How do I cancel or change my order?

Due to our quick turnaround process, it is important that you contact us immediately after purchase if you have made a mistake. Orders that have been cleared and already dispatched cannot be cancelled or changed. You may still wish to return the items but please read our Warranty and Returns policy by clicking here.

Will I receive a Tax invoice with my order?

Yes a Tax invoice is provided on completion of your order. You can also view & print your recent invoices from “My Orders” section of the website after you have logged in. For Tax purpose our A.B.N. is 62 628 466 106.

Is the product I wish to purchase available?

Stock Qty can be seen for every product listed on our website. Please refer to the classifications below.
In Stock: Item is in stock in our warehouse and is available to ship immediately.
On Order: Item has already been ordered and is in transit to our warehouse. We normally expect On Order items to be in our warehouse within 1~2 days.
Pre-Order: This item is currently not in stock but this does not mean the product is not available. Please contact us for more information or place a back order as per normal. For back orders we will contact you to notify the expected ETA and goods with automatically be shipped once it has arrived in our warehouse.

Can I pickup my order?

Unfortunately we do not currently provide pickup service. Our goal to provide the lowest price to you means that we are required to have a centralised warehouse where orders can be processed in a timely & efficient manner. We offer shipping to you with very competitive shipping cost which means you can have the goods that you ordered delivered straight to you without having to leave your doorstep.

How long does delivery take from time of order?

We have a highly sophisticated system which process orders quickly so you can receive your order quicker. Currently over 90% of orders are shipped the same day if you selected in stock items. We use only the best freight companies which means goods are delivered quicker to you. As a general guide shipping to major metropolitan areas take around 1~4 working days (NT & WA may require additional days). For regional areas, delivery can vary between 2~7 days (NT & WA may require additional days) from day of shipping.

For urgent orders, please select our “Priority Delivery Service”. Priority Delivery Service has a later pickup time which means there are more time for your order to be shipped out. It also uses a priority courier delivery (if available in your area) so you can get your goods even quicker! For other urgent enquiries, please don’t hesitate to contact sales@techcart.com.au.

Can I enter a purchase order number when ordering?

Yes, when checking out you will be given the option to enter your own purchase order number for easier tracking.

I have placed a software license order. When will I receive the product key?

License Orders are processed by our order processing team during business hours on Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm (excluding public holidays). If you placed the order over the weekend or during public holiday, please wait until the next working day for the email delivery of your purchase. If you have not received the email product delivery after 1 working day, please check your spam folder. If you still haven’t received the license key, please whitelist our domain (techcart.com.au) and email us at sales@techcart.com.au with your order ID for it to be emailed again.

I have a promotion code, how can I use it?

When you’re about to checkout, click on your shopping cart and enter your promo code in the box provided and click apply. If you have any other ordering related questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team at support@techcart.com.au .

How do I use received Coupons?

At Tech Cart, we give our valued customers discounts thru coupons. It will be shown on your account page under Coupons tab.

To use your coupons, there are 3 options:

  1. You can click on a coupon under Coupons tab. This will automatically apply the selected coupon on any purchases made during the current session.
  2. You can also select a coupon when you view your Cart. Simply click on a coupon you wish to apply.
  3. You can also apply your coupons on the Checkout page. The process is the same as in Cart page coupon application.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Tech Cart accepts Paypal as well as Visa and Mastercard. Please note that Paypal and c/c attractes a 2% surcharge. For C/C payment you may be contacted to provided additional information so we can verify the c/c purchase. You may also choose to Direct Deposit to our bank account which has no surcharge. Direct deposit normally clears overnight and your goods will be shipped immediately after funds has cleared. This is usually within 1~2 working days.

Is GST included in the advertised price?

Yes, GST is already included in the price for every item. The GST listed on the checkout page is shown for your reference only and will not be any extra to be added to the final total. What is displayed in the final checkout page is the amount payable with no hidden charges. A tax invoice will be provided on completion of your order.

Is it safe to buy with Tech Cart?

The personal information that we obtain is held securely in accordance with our privacy policy and the law. We never pass on any information to third parties except where necessary for the fulfillment of your order. Our online checkout system is protected with the latest security software to prevent it from any unauthorised access.

How much does shipping cost?

The cost on shipping will depend on the volume of goods and the location of the receiver. The freight charge are automatically calculated and will be shown on the check out page prior to finalising your order. There are no other hidden charges and what you see is the final balance. You can check the estimated shipping cost in the Product Detail section of the product. Simply select the “Calculate Freight” Tab and enter your destination for the cost of shipping the product. You can also get the total freight cost for the whole order at the Checkout page prior to entering any payment information.

Do you deliver to PO BOXES?

As we stock several large and bulky items, we use several different courier services who may be unable to deliver to PO BOX addresses. If you plan on receiving goods via a PO BOX, please ensure that the item(s) ordered would fit in a small box/satchel. You will be notified by email if any issues arise with your delivery.

Do I have to sign for my parcel?

Signature on delivery is required so it is important to be at the nominated address to receive the goods. In the event that you are not present, a notification card will be left at the address so that you can arrange a re-delivery or collect from a local depot.

How long does it take for delivery/dispatch?

All items in-stock are generally sent within the same business day after payment has been cleared. Once dispatched, standard or priority shipping delivery times apply. You will be able to trace your delivery online during the entire shipment.

Given the discounted prices, are all your products brand new with full warranty?

Yes all our products are supplied brand new un-opened. Never be concerned about receiving stock that may have been recycled and does not have the full warranties. Shop with confidence with Tech Cart as all our products are always sourced from authorised distributors and is fully covered by Australian warranties.

For products such as software and some others, what does “OEM” mean?

OEM products in general are products that are supplied without the retail packaging as it is designed for system builders. In most cases the product itself is the same as the full retail version but without the Retail packaging which is not required for system builders. If you are building your own PC or upgrading your PC, you can find significant saving in purchasing OEM products. What is your warranty policy?
